Responsibility
We are a small, early-stage company. This is not a certification and not a finished sustainability report -- it is an honest account of what we have actually built into how NomadPilot works, and what we plan to build next, so it grows into real, verifiable reporting rather than a claim made once and never checked again.
We keep a structured register of the ESG metrics that matter to a travel business -- environmental, social and governance -- each with a defined owner, data source, and how it is calculated. Every metric is honestly labelled: either backed by a real, live data source today, or explicitly not yet tracked. We do not publish an estimated or invented figure in place of one we do not actually have.
NomadPilot uses AI (Maya) to help plan and execute travel actions on a customer’s behalf. Every autonomous action Maya takes is recorded: what was asked, what Maya did, whether it succeeded, and whether a human had to step in. Actions that would move money or complete a real booking are never finalised by AI alone -- they always require explicit human confirmation first.
Atlas, our country-relocation knowledge base, already only publishes country facts that have been reviewed and sourced -- never an AI guess dressed up as fact. We are applying the same discipline to sustainability information: any emissions or cost-of-living figure we show will be clearly labelled as Verified, Supplier-reported, Estimated, or Unknown, and we will never present a guess as a certainty.
Showing an estimated emissions figure alongside price, duration and stops on flight search results -- based on a documented, cited methodology, never invented -- so travellers can weigh it themselves. We will never force a lower-emission choice; the decision stays with the traveller.
NomadPilot’s architecture is not built around an assumption that all supply must come through major OTAs. Over time we want to support independent hotels, guesthouses, agriturismo and local service providers directly -- which is also a way for AI-driven travel distribution to bring real business to smaller operators, not just large chains.
A basic code covering legal compliance, data protection, customer treatment, payment practices, environmental claims and security -- as an onboarding document and checklist for the partners we work with, not a complex scoring system.
Once enough of our metrics are genuinely tracked with real data (not just defined), we plan to publish a simple, honest summary of where things stand -- built over real numbers, not an empty template.
This foundation is deliberately built so that, as NomadPilot grows, it can progressively support enterprise procurement requirements, investor due diligence, and eventually formal reporting aligned with the EU’s Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME) -- without a rebuild.
