Residency

Mexico — Residency: Work Visa

Mexico provides employment-based residence pathways for foreign nationals who have secured a job offer from a Mexican employer. Most applicants require prior authorization from the National Immigration Institute before applying for a visa at a Mexican consulate abroad. Following arrival in Mexico, eligible applicants generally complete the residence card issuance process. Residence permits may be renewed where employment continues and all applicable immigration requirements remain satisfied.
