Portugal offers the Empresa na Hora service, which lets you create a company at a registry counter the same day: the company agreement is made and signed at the counter and the commercial registration is done at the same moment. The official cost for a standard request is €360, and the service covers single-member companies by quotas, companies by quotas and public limited companies. A digital route, Empresa Online, is also available. Costs for notaries or other advisers are separate.
