Taxes

UAE — Tax: Income Tax (None for Individuals)

The UAE levies no personal income tax on individuals, and there are no individual tax registration or reporting obligations. This covers all residents regardless of nationality: salary, bonuses, rental income, dividends, interest, and capital gains are all tax-free for individuals. This is one of the UAE's core relocation draws, though non-UAE citizens (e.g. US citizens under citizenship-based taxation, or nationals of countries with worldwide-income tax regimes) may still owe tax in their home country on UAE-sourced income.
